Immediately after setting up your auto dealership’s Pay-per-click (PPC) ads, you just performed a quick Google test search. To your surprise, the ads simply disappeared into thin air! You can’t find them anywhere.
Now you need to figure out what is holding back your ads from being displayed.
Here are a few important things to check.
Reason 1: Ads May Have Been Paused
Check on the status of the ads. For an ad to display, it should be active. If not, then change the status of your campaign and ad to active.
Reason 2: Daily Budget is Already Spent
If your budget is too low, your PPC ads will not display for long. This will definitely decrease your leads and conversion rates.
Make sure to invest sufficient dollars in your PPC ads so that they are displayed on Google for an whole day.
Reason 3: Check for Disapproval
There are chances that the ad text is not in compliance with Google’s ad text policy. Such ads are usually disapproved by Google.
Check the ads manually in the Status column, to know if the ads are approved or disapproved.
Reason 4: Negative Keywords in Ads
Negative keywords are important, but be careful while choosing them, especially, if you are selecting a broad-match negative keyword.
Make sure it doesn’t nullify your keywords within the ad group.
Reason 5: Poor PPC Ad Scheduling
The search traffic for your ads will be high during particular hours of the day. If you don’t schedule your PPC ads to run during those specific hours, then leads and conversions will naturally decrease.
Reschedule your ads to run when search traffic goes up.
Reason 6: Improper Billing Information
The most common reason for your ads not displaying is improper billing information such as incorrect credit card number, address, expiration date, etc. To avoid this, it is advisable to provide a backup billing option.
Your dealership can manually check the details by going to the billing section. You can also choose to be automatically notified via email.
Reason 7: Blocking of Internal IP
Your IP might have been blocked from the campaign because of repeated searches. Check your IP address exclusion section in campaign settings for the IP details. If you want to see your ads then remove your IP from that section.
