Car dealerships are increasingly becoming tech-driven. From DMS to CRM Systems to Chatbots, there are literally hundreds of digital solutions available to dealers.
Before
settling on them, ask a few questions to understand if they are worth the
investment and effort.
1. Does it Integrate Well with Existing Technology?
Make sure you’re choosing technologies that work well
with your dealership and the other digital solutions used at your store.
2. Is
the Bottom-line Impact Measurable?
The good thing about digital solutions is that the results and ROI are measurable.
Don’t just go on manufacturer claims or hearsay, your
hard-earned revenue needs to be protected. Do your homework before committing.
3. Are
Your Rivals Using Similar Tech?
The only way to succeed today is to be several steps ahead
of your closest competitors. If your rivals are not using the new solution that
you planned to, then jump on the opportunity and give it a try to get the
early-bird advantage.
However, if they are already doing so, and if it’s
resulting in increased leads (and, in turn, better sales figures), then it’s
certainly time for your auto business to up its game as well.
